Between the technology of telecommuting and the growing acceptance of dispersed work teams, location independence is on the rise. I’d wager that at some point in the future, the idea of driving to an office where you park yourself for 8 hours regardless of how productive you are, will seem near-sighted and outdated.
Until that day comes, however, we have many intrepid digital nomads to thank for blazing this trail. They are learning to balance flexibility, productivity, and (in many cases) travel.
